Some updates
and stuff....
Due to deadlines for the novel and short story collection I have coming out next year, I’ll probably have to put aside the short story monthly reviews I was planning on doing here. I know, I know! Boo, hiss.
Don’t worry, once I’m caught up and contracts appeased, I’ll get back to it. In the mean time, this weekend I plan on making some updates to Good Writer’s code, I’m going to have it use basic cookies to remember the theme you’re using, but nothing more than that. We never track info, and we don’t plan on it.
I’m also changing it so when you click on a market listing, it takes you to the submission guidelines instead of the main page. This was causing come confusion. You can still get to the main page by clicking on the website link on the market listing. I’m also going to add an ability to hide listings, and in the future, save curated lists. The saved lists will generate a URL link that can be visited/embedded, and will not require a log in, nor tracking data via cookies or otherwise nefarious means.
I’m also going to create a github repository for this, so people can look at/improve/snurch the code.
Anyway, happy submitting!
